Hi, my name is Mehboob Habib and thank you for visiting my site.
I was born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1950 and migrated to Toronto in 1987.
In 2014, I was captivated by a newspaper ad on creative writing courses offered by the University of Toronto. I started with the Introductory course followed by sessions in Writing Short Fiction, Generating Stories, Creative Writing Through Reading and Writing the Memoir.
Some of the blog postings are the assignments submitted for the writing courses, and others are from my continuing experiments in creative writing.
